club monaco: spring 2 press preview

if you lucky ducks follow me on instagram, you probably saw that i was at the club monaco offices this morning viewing their spring 2 collection. not only was it nice to finally attend (i’ve been trying forever, but you know, school is important), but i got to see something new from CM: color. and lots of it. they had sheer camo-eque button downs in lime green and chic khaki,  a lot of tech-color printed floral peplums, and glittery structured dresses (i was crying over these). i left feeling so inspired, i wanted to go home and change into my dad’s 80’s hawaiian button down.

Breakfast with Lulu Frost 

Thursday morning, Tumblr invited a few New York based fashion bloggers to the Lulu Frost studio to have breakfast with designer, Lisa Salzar, and the team. With breakfast, we previewed her recent collections, and her upcoming collection “Power”. After speaking with Lisa, it became very obvious that vintage molds and antique pieces were one of her biggest inspirations. What’s even cooler about Lulu Frost is all of the designs are made in-house. The event, jewelry, and studio was so beautiful. Be sure to keep an eye out Lulu Frost’s collection, Power!
