What’s Next?
Now that I’m settled in post-Paris and incredibly relaxed, I figured it’s time to write this post. I wasn’t sure how to begin at first; it just feels weird having a full post dedicated to the subject but I have received more questions about this one topic in the last month than I ever have on any other singular topic.
Leading up to graduation I interviewed with a lot of amazing companies, most I could have only dreamed of working for four years ago. After interviewing, nothing felt quite right. I couldn’t really put my finger on it but there was a small part of me that just felt uncomfortable everywhere I interviewed. And it wasn’t them, it was totally me! I was really frantic there for a second. It’s really scary transitioning from one area of life to another with no idea of what’s coming next.
After all of that stress, one afternoon Nanette Lepore called me to her office and flat out asked me to work for her. The answer was clear. After four years with the company, now I will be managing the in-house public relations and acting as one half of the digital strategy team at Nanette Lepore.
The transition into the role has been amazing and I’m so beyond over the moon. I started as an intern labeling nail polish bottles with “Nanette Lepore” stickers almost four years ago… And today, this is my life. Hard work, hard work, hard work. It will take you places.

Paris, France.

Paris, France.

This morning I arrived in Paris only to find out I was on the cover of Metro New York with my dear friend Freddy. So, SO cool! Click here to read about how I carved my own career path through having a blog.
